NBA Official Visits CAL Sports Academy Sunday Basketball Clinic
Lansdale, PA – NBA Official, Mark Lindsay #53, made a surprise visit to CAL Sports Academy on Sunday morning to speak to the 30 boys and girls who attended CAL Sports Academy’s Sunday Basketball Clinics. Mr. Lindsay spent an entertaining half hour answering questions about: the NBA; NBA Stars such as Kevin Garnett, Carmelo Anthony, Allen Iverson and Yao Ming; and shared the story of how he became a NBA Referee. Lindsey, who played basketball collegiately at West Chester University, is in the middle of his fourth season in the NBA, working approximately 70 regular-season contests each season.
“Mark has been trying to get over to one of our clinics for a few months, but his busy NBA travel schedule prevented him from visiting previously. And when he showed up I knew it would be a treat for the boys and girls to see how far playing basketball can take you in life,” said Corey Lord, owner of CAL Sports Academy.
